Position Details

• Position: Social Studies Teacher
• Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
• Contract Dates: ASAP Start - May 21, 2027
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Daily Schedule: 7:15 AM - 2:45 PM
• Caseload: Social Studies Teacher

Qualifications

• Must hold an active South Carolina Teaching License
• No exceptions: Candidates must be licensed in the state of South Carolina at the time of employment
• Must possess a Social Studies endorsement on their teaching license
• Previous classroom experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Social Studies instruction aligned with state standards
• Develop lesson plans that promote critical thinking and student participation
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with administrators, parents, and educational staff to support student success
