As part of your assignment, you will teach one class of 7th grade ELA and three classes of 6th grade ELA. With no more than 20 students in your caseload, you’ll have the space to develop tailored lessons that inspire student growth and confidence. This contract covers the full academic year from July 21, 2026, to May 27, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week at a forward-thinking STEM Academy.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina teaching license (elementary endorsement acceptable)
• Experience teaching English Language Arts in a general education setting, preferably at the middle school level
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to cultivate a positive, motivating learning environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Plan engaging, standards-based lessons in ELA for 6th and 7th grade classes
