As a valued math educator, you'll:

  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction to high school students in general education math courses.
  • Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and adapted to diverse learning needs.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support for academic growth.

We’re seeking candidates who have:

  • An active Michigan teaching certificate with a Math Endorsement (please include current licensure/certifications when applying).
  • Previous experience teaching math at the high school level in a general education setting (preferred).
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student engagement.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative approach.

This position offers a full-time schedule of approximately 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to build meaningful connections with students and staff over the duration of the contract. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026 to June 5, 2027, offering the opportunity to see your students' progress from start to finish. Compensation for this role is $70 per hour, reflecting your valuable expertise and commitment to education.
