In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and advancing the English Language Learner (ELL) program across a district, ensuring all students receive the resources and instruction they need to thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in General Education with emphasis in English
- Prior classroom experience preferred, especially in ELL, General Education, or English instruction
- Strong understanding of ELL strategies, compliance requirements, and best practices
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with school administrators and staff
- Experience with program management or coordination is a plus
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee ELL program implementation and effectiveness throughout the school district
- Support administrators in hiring, mentoring, and supervising ELL teaching staff
- Manage program budgets, allocate resources, and ensure compliance with district and state policies
- Coordinate professional development and training opportunities for educators serving ELL students
- Serve as a liaison between district leadership and school sites for program-related concerns
- Monitor and analyze student progress data, making program adjustments as needed
