This full-time, contract opportunity provides the chance to work onsite with a diverse student population, including those in emotional and autistic support programs. With one opening available, you’ll deliver instruction that supports both general and special education needs, ensuring each learner achieves growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (required for emergency teaching permit if applicable)
• Active Pennsylvania teacher certification or licensure appropriate for K-8 caseload
• Prior experience teaching in a school environment
• Demonstrated background working with students with special needs
• Proficiency in classroom and behavioral management
• Experience in urban educational settings, adaptable to district expectations
• Able to develop detailed lesson plans aligned with state/district standards, utilizing formative assessment and differentiation
• Familiarity with emotional support and autistic support programs
• Able to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
• Reliable transportation for consistent onsite attendance
• Availability between Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, without schedule accommodations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction to students in accordance with established curriculum
• Create and implement lesson plans that motivate, differentiate, and engage all learners
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture while maintaining effective behavioral standards
• Collaborate with support staff and utilize available resources to address individual student needs
• Engage in ongoing assessment and provide timely feedback to drive student achievement
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district reporting procedures

This contract position (35 hours/week) offers a supportive school environment where your expertise and compassion can make a daily impact. The assignment will begin as soon as possible and continue through June 10, 2027.
