Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Possession of an active Louisiana DOE Teaching Certificate (TAT or in-process credentials not accepted)
• Solid background teaching mathematics at the high school level
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to new settings and engage adolescent learners
• Willingness to fulfill all district credentialing requirements, including background check, drug screening, and fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging math instruction aligned with state and district standards
• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to diverse high school learners
• Monitor student progress, assess understanding, and adjust instruction as needed
• Foster a positive classroom climate that encourages participation and growth
• Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, and parents to optimize student outcomes
