Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and valid Louisiana Department of Education teaching certificate required (temporary credentials and authorizations not accepted)
• Previous experience teaching high school mathematics strongly preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Motivated, adaptable, and ready to engage a diverse group of students
• Able to meet district credentialing requirements, including passing a drug screening and fingerprint background check

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, standards-based math instruction to high school students
• Prepare and implement lesson plans that cater to multiple learning styles
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support
• Collaborate with faculty, support staff, and administration to foster a positive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments as required
