Elementary Social Studies Gen Ed Teacher - Mishawaka, IN

Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

• Valid teaching license/certification for elementary education
• Previous experience in an elementary classroom setting
• Strong background in Math, Social Studies, and/or Science instruction
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Enthusiastic attitude and commitment to helping every student succeed
• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and participate in ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction in Math, Social Studies, and Science to elementary-aged students
• Develop lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student learning goals
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and implement interventions as needed
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Work closely with other teachers, support staff, and administration to ensure student achievement
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom events
