Essential Qualifications:
- Fluency in Chinese Mandarin; native or near-native proficiency strongly preferred
- Previous classroom teaching or education experience
- Ability to effectively plan and deliver student-centered, impactful instruction
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to cultivating positive relationships with students and contributing to a supportive school culture
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in public or public charter school settings
- Familiarity with Humanities, International Studies, or related content areas
- Proven success working with diverse student populations

- Experience integrating Mandarin language with Humanities or global studies curricula
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Mandarin and Integrated Studies lessons aligned with curriculum standards and learning goals
- Develop creative, engaging activities that foster language development, elevate critical thinking skills, and promote cross-cultural understanding
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students at various levels of Mandarin proficiency
- Incorporate authentic Chinese-language resources, cultural insights, and global perspectives in daily lessons
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback that supports growth
- Collaborate with teaching colleagues to drive interdisciplinary learning and support student achievement
- Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect
