General Education Teacher | New Orleans, Louisiana

An opportunity for experienced and dedicated General Education Teachers is available in the New Orleans, LA area for the upcoming school term. This full-time contract role offers the chance to support elementary students within general education classrooms, contributing to their academic growth and success.

Location & Schedule:

• Position based in the New Orleans, LA area.
• Full-time commitment, 35 hours per week (7 hours daily plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch), Monday through Friday aligned with the school calendar.
• Contract duration is from ASAP through 5/22/2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction to elementary general education students.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Support student development through differentiated instruction and assessment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education teaching certification (TAT certification is not accepted).
• Experience levels considered range from entry (0-2 years) to advanced (10+ years) with commensurate compensation.
• Successful candidates will undergo district-required drug screening and fingerprinting clearance.
• Preference for candidates currently certified and available to begin immediately; licensing processes in progress are not suitable.
