Step into a fulfilling, impactful teaching opportunity focused on shaping junior high students’ digital skills. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated long-term substitute to teach general education 6th grade computer literacy and technology content. This engaging assignment begins August 17, 2026, and continues through June 2, 2027—providing plenty of time to build important connections with students and support their educational journeys.

You’ll be teaching onsite in a collaborative, supportive environment, with class sizes of fewer than 20 students. This setting allows for personalized attention and a genuine chance to inspire young learners as they develop foundational technology competencies. Hours total 33.75 each week, making this a consistent and rewarding contract position.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Teaching experience in computer science or technology-focused coursework
  • Prior experience at the high school level preferred
  • Demonstrated record of career consistency
  • Student-centered teaching philosophy—committed to fostering individual growth over simply following curriculum
  • Passion for helping students from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

Primary Responsibilities:
