PE Pre K General Education Teacher | Orland Park, Illinois

In this contract opportunity, you will inspire young learners as a Physical Education Teacher for students in Pre-K through 4th grade. What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Physical Education endorsement covering at least PK-4th grade (must include licensure information in your application)
• Experience or confidence in teaching general education and physical education in early childhood and elementary settings
• Strong classroom management skills, energy, and a positive approach to working with young children
• Ability to create and deliver engaging lessons that support students’ overall development

Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a classroom of Pre-K through 4th grade students in Physical Education
• Plan and deliver direct instruction in accordance with curriculum requirements
• Assess student progress through administering and grading tests, assignments, and participating in ongoing observation
• Foster a safe and welcoming classroom environment supporting student growth and cooperation
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support each child’s educational journey

This position offers hourly compensation ranging from $37.50 to $46.75, depending on experience and qualifications.
