Math Mathematics General Education Teacher | Orland Park, Illinois

This full-time contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week in a supportive school environment near Orland Park, IL. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Education or related field
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Experience teaching math to elementary or middle school-aged students preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities
• Passion for helping students develop confidence and skills in mathematics

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging 5th-grade math instruction aligned with state and school standards
• Plan and implement lessons that support different learning styles and abilities
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support student achievement
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
• Participate in professional development to continually enhance teaching skills
