Teacher in Painted Post, NY

Inspire creativity and a love for the arts as an Art Teacher for the upcoming school year! This full-time, contract position presents an exciting opportunity to teach and engage students across multiple communities. You’ll travel between locations near Hornell, Greenwood, and Bath, NY, sharing your passion for art and helping students express themselves through a variety of mediums. The role begins September 8, 2026, and continues through June 25, 2027.

With a commitment of 35 hours a week, you’ll enjoy a dynamic work environment and the chance to make a positive impact in diverse classrooms. Weekly compensation ranges from $38 to $40 per hour and healthcare benefits are provided.

Qualifications:

• Active New York teaching license required
• Certification in general education (any certified teacher is welcome)
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching art to students of varying skill levels
• Previous classroom experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel between Hornell, Greenwood, and Bath, NY
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging art curriculum and lesson plans
