Key Qualifications:

• Active teacher certification or licensure required for the assigned caseload
• Bachelor’s degree required (to qualify for emergency teaching permit)
• Prior experience working in schools, particularly in urban environments
• Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention skills
• Demonstrated mastery of science subject matter and instructional techniques
• Reliable transportation necessary for onsite attendance
• Ability to work full time onsite, Monday – Friday, between 8:30 AM and 4 PM, without schedule accommodations
• Comfortable navigating district and location-specific expectations
• Completion of all required Pennsylvania clearances

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state and district standards
• Drive classroom instruction through differentiated teaching and regular formative assessments

• Collaborate with colleagues, including special education teachers, to support all learners
