Music Gen Ed Teacher - Phoenixville, PA

Enrich young minds and foster creativity as a General Education Music Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering the rewarding experience of watching students grow through the power of music. You'll be part of a supportive educational environment, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a total of 35 hours per week.

Your expertise and dedication will earn compensation between $30 and $45 per hour, depending on your experience, certification, and degree level.

What We’re Seeking:

• Valid Pennsylvania Music Teacher Certification for grades K-8 (minimum)
• Previous experience in music instruction, preferably with elementary or middle school students
• Openness to considering out-of-state or emergency-certified educators with relevant classroom experience
• Ability to develop and deliver interactive lesson plans catering to a variety of learning needs
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for sharing the love of music and building student confidence

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach general music classes to students in grades K-8, integrating theory, performance, and appreciation
• Design and implement creative, age-appropriate music curriculum aligning with educational standards
• Organize and direct student performances, showcases, or concerts as part of school events
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can express themselves musically
