Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois state teaching license and certification
- CTE endorsement required
- Prior school-based teaching experience
- Background in general education within a junior high setting preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Dedicated to fostering academic and personal development in students
Your Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement comprehensive lesson plans for assigned subjects
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and learning
- Monitor student progress, provide guidance, and adapt strategies to meet diverse needs
- Collaborate with colleagues, staff, and parents to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate records and participate in required meetings or trainings
- Fulfill classroom management and supervision duties
- Participate in a 30-minute interview as part of the hiring process
