Essential Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois state teaching license and certification
• CTE endorsement required
• Prior school-based teaching experience
• Background in general education within a junior high setting preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Dedicated to fostering academic and personal development in students

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement comprehensive lesson plans for assigned subjects
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and learning
• Monitor student progress, provide guidance, and adapt strategies to meet diverse needs
• Collaborate with colleagues, staff, and parents to maximize student success
• Maintain accurate records and participate in required meetings or trainings
• Fulfill classroom management and supervision duties
• Participate in a 30-minute interview as part of the hiring process
