This position allows you to inspire and mentor students, helping them build a strong mathematical foundation.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Louisiana Math Educator Certificate with authorization for High School grade levels
• Proven experience teaching Algebra I or similar math courses at the high school level
• Strong classroom management abilities and excellent communication skills
• Passion for creating engaging math lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
• Ability to collaborate with other educators on curriculum and individualized instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons for Algebra I, adapting instruction to meet student needs
• Evaluate student progress using a range of assessment strategies
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic progress and classroom events
