Key Qualifications:

• Experience teaching or mentoring K-12 students, preferably in general education, STEM, or extracurricular environments.
• Proficiency in chess, robotics, and introductory coding concepts.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to multiple sites in DC, Maryland, and Virginia as scheduled.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with school staff to facilitate engaging after-school programs.

Role Overview:

• Plan and deliver interactive lessons for elementary through high school students in chess, robotics, and coding.
• Lead 5-10 hours of instruction per week during after-school hours (typically between 3-6pm).
• Rotate between up to 10 campuses, fostering a positive and inclusive environment at each location.
• Track student progress and adapt activities to meet a variety of learning needs.
• Encourage problem solving, teamwork, and digital literacy in all classroom interactions.
