We're seeking two dedicated educators for full-time roles focused on 5th-grade English Language Arts and Social Studies. These are onsite positions at an intermediate school conveniently located near Round Lake, IL, with a contract running from August 17 through May 27, 2027.

In this engaging role, you'll help shape the academic journey of 5th-grade students by delivering dynamic lessons in both ELA and Social Studies. Dual endorsement in these subjects is highly valued and will put you in a prime position to influence curriculum and classroom culture.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements.
  • Previous experience designing and implementing curriculum.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for working collaboratively to support the diverse needs of students.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons in English Language Arts and Social Studies for 5th-grade students.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom climate that supports student growth.
  • Utilize various instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to ensure alignment with school goals and standards.
