Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active teaching license in General Education (high school level), with flexibility on state of issuance
• Ability and willingness to secure South Carolina teaching credentials via SCDE reciprocity before August start date
• Prior experience teaching English at the high school level is highly valued
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
• Enthusiasm for guiding teens through both classic and contemporary literature

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Inspire students to build strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills
