As a School Bus Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring students reach their destinations securely and on time. Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
• Demonstrated safe driving record and the ability to pass a background check
• Preferably some experience operating a school bus or similar large vehicle
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Flexible and available to work mornings, afternoons, and occasionally extra hours
• Reliable, patient, and committed to providing a secure environment for students

Core Responsibilities:

• Transport students to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular events in a consistently safe manner
• Monitor the safety and well-being of passengers at all times
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain optimal safety standards
• Keep the bus clean, organized, and comfortable for students
• Enforce all traffic regulations and adhere to district policies throughout every route
• Assist students as they board and exit the bus, offering extra care as needed
• Foster clear communication with school staff, parents, and students
• Handle student behavior calmly and address concerns appropriately to maintain a respectful environment
• Promptly report concerns or incidents to the necessary school authorities
