Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from school and during extracurricular activities.
• Carry out required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining safety and cleanliness.
• Help students board and exit the bus, assisting as needed to ensure everyone’s well-being.
• Monitor and manage student conduct on the bus, fostering a safe and respectful environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with school staff, parents, and students.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to the proper authorities promptly.
• Abide by all traffic regulations and school transportation policies.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
• Clean driving record and successful completion of a background check.
• Prior experience driving a school bus or similar vehicle is highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with children, parents, and school officials.
• Patience, reliability, and a dedication to keeping students safe are essential.
• Willingness to work early mornings and afternoons, with adaptability for additional hours when required.
