Key Requirements:

• Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement
• Maintain a clean driving record and clear background check
• Preferred previous experience operating a school bus or similar vehicle
• Effectively communicate with students, parents, and school staff
• Patient, dependable, and dedicated to upholding high standards of student safety
• Available for early mornings and afternoons, with some flexibility for supplementary hours
• Strong interpersonal skills to handle a diverse student population

Daily Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from school, as well as extracurricular activities
• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Keep the bus clean and orderly at all times
• Follow all local traffic regulations and school transportation policies
• Assist students during boarding and exiting when needed
• Foster a safe and respectful bus environment, managing conduct as necessary
• Immediately report any incidents or mechanical concerns
