In this dynamic position, you’ll travel to area campuses to lead engaging, hands-on enrichment lessons. You’ll work closely with elementary, middle, and high school students, creating a safe and supportive environment that encourages curiosity and confidence. Whether you’re orchestrating a rookie chess match, guiding a robotics team, or introducing coding basics, you’ll spark creativity and critical-thinking across several diverse groups.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Background in general education instruction (K-12 preferred)
  • Experience teaching or facilitating Chess, Robotics, or Coding for youth
  • Comfortable leading small and large group enrichment activities
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to commute within Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia metro area
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Flexible, creative, and able to adapt lessons for multiple age groups

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver after-school Chess, Robotics, and Coding lessons to K-12 students
  • Adapt instruction to a wide variety of ages and learning levels
  • Foster teamwork, collaboration, and positive learning experiences
  • Track student progress and provide feedback to program coordinators
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Travel to various campus locations as needed
