Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Mandarin Chinese, or a related field
• Valid teaching credential or certification appropriate for K–8 general or foreign language education
• Demonstrated proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Prior classroom experience at elementary or middle school level preferred
• Ability to create an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging Mandarin language lessons to students in grades K–8
• Encourage active participation through interactive and culturally rich activities
• Assess student progress using a variety of methods and provide constructive feedback
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and styles
• Foster an environment of respect, curiosity, and cultural appreciation
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning
• Maintain accurate attendance and grade records as required
