Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Math endorsement for 5th and 6th grade
• Previous experience teaching math at the elementary or middle school level preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Commitment to fostering academic excellence and encouraging student engagement

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the classroom for 5th and 6th grade students, delivering direct math instruction
• Administer and grade assessments to track student progress
• Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Provide regular feedback and support to students
• Maintain organized records and timely communication with parents/guardians and colleagues
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners

This position offers the opportunity to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Compensation ranges from $37.50 to $46.75 per hour, commensurate with your experience and education level.
