Key Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
• Prior experience with school buses or similar large vehicles is preferred
• Strong communication skills for interactions with staff, students, and parents
• Reliability, patience, and a genuine commitment to safety
• Availability for early morning and afternoon shifts, with flexibility for additional hours as required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students between home, school, and extracurricular events
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards
• Keep the bus clean, organized, and in compliance with school policies
• Assist students in getting on and off the bus, providing extra help where needed
• Foster a safe, respectful environment by maintaining order during rides and managing behavior calmly
• Communicate and coordinate with school officials and parents as necessary
• Promptly report concerns, incidents, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel
