Responsibilities include:

• Safely operating a school bus for daily routes and student activities
• Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintaining a clean and organized bus interior
• Adhering to all school district policies and traffic regulations
• Providing assistance to students as they board and exit
• Managing student behavior to ensure a safe ride
• Communicating effectively with school officials, parents, and students
• Promptly reporting issues or incidents when necessary

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement
• Possess a clean driving record and successfully pass a background check
• Experience driving school buses or similar vehicles is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to work early mornings, afternoons, and occasional extra hours
• Demonstrated patience, reliability, and a commitment to student safety
