Step into a vibrant middle school science classroom and inspire the next generation of thinkers and problem-solvers! This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the academic year, working Monday through Friday for 35 hours per week. Starting August 24, 2026, and running through June 10, 2027, you will guide and motivate general education students with the support of Special Education teachers for any students who require additional services.

Ideal candidates meet these qualifications:
- Current teaching certification or licensure appropriate for middle school science
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum), with eligibility for an emergency teaching permit
- Experience working within school settings, preferably in urban environments
- Demonstrated classroom and behavioral management abilities
- Proven ability to design and adapt lesson plans to diverse student needs
- Prepared to complete all required PA clearances
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required for the 8:30AM-4PM schedule
- Comfort and adaptability within district expectations and the local community
