Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or English; state teaching certification required
  • Prior experience teaching middle or high school English Language Arts preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to develop engaging, standards-based lesson plans
  • Enthusiasm for fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
  • Comfortable collaborating with colleagues, parents, and administrators

Responsibilities:

  • Teach 7th Grade ELA curriculum aligned with state and district standards
  • Incorporate a range of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments
  • Maintain accurate records for attendance, grading, and student performance
