Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in General Education
• Prior experience as a Librarian or in the classroom at the elementary or intermediate level
• Solid knowledge of curriculum development and differentiated instruction
• Strong classroom management and organizational abilities
• Ability to promote reading, research, and numeracy skills
• Collaborative mindset; skilled at working with staff, students, and families
• Comfortable integrating technology into lessons
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in math and/or library sciences
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating classroom/library environment
• Assess and address diverse learning needs of students in grades 4-5
• Encourage independent learning, research skills, and critical thinking
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enrich school programming and events
• Maintain accurate student records and provide regular progress updates
• Participate in ongoing professional development
