What We’re Looking For:

• At least two years of teaching experience, preferably at the middle or high school level
• Strong Spanish proficiency; ability to teach and communicate primarily in Spanish
• Proven classroom management skills, including supporting diverse learners
• Experience following unit and lesson plans, maintaining high expectations and consistency
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with fellow Spanish educators and the Language Team
• Background in differentiating instruction and addressing varied learning needs
• Familiarity with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), proficiency-based language instruction, or inquiry-based methods is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct and engage middle school students in Spanish, utilizing provided lesson and unit plans
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive
• Monitor student progress and adapt instruction to meet individual needs
• Collaborate with other Spanish teachers and Language Team members to ensure alignment and continuity
• Implement differentiation strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Contribute to a dynamic and interactive world-language program
