Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 5th Grade Math & Science Teacher for a full-time contract opportunity in Waynesville, North Carolina. Position Details

• Schedule: Full-Time, 30+ hours per week

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging math and science lessons aligned with state standards.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student growth and achievement.
• Assess student progress and utilize data to guide instruction.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Maintain accurate records and fulfill all district and school requirements.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina teaching license required.
• Math licensure is required.
• Science endorsement or licensure is preferred but not required.
• Previous elementary classroom teaching experience is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively engage and motivate diverse learners.
