Key Requirements & Experience:

• Valid PA Instructional I or II Certification in Mathematics (covering at least grades 6-8)
• Minimum one year of relevant teaching experience (student teaching or full-time roles)
• Experience teaching general education math at the middle school level is highly desired
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Emergency certification holders are not eligible for this assignment

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Delivering dynamic and age-appropriate math instruction to a diverse group of 6th grade students
• Creating and implementing lesson plans that align with state standards
• Assessing student progress and adapting instruction as needed
• Collaborating with fellow educators and school support staff to enhance student outcomes
• Providing regular feedback to students and families regarding academic development
• Participating in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required
