Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Alabama Teacher’s Certification (with math endorsement)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
• Experience in general education (Math and ELA) at the secondary level preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Technologically proficient and comfortable integrating digital tools into lessons
• Ability to connect well with students, parents, and colleagues

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain a classroom setting that encourages growth, engagement, and learning
• Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with students
• Inspire students to develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills for a solid educational foundation
• Integrate technology within the curriculum to prepare students for success in the 21st century
• Communicate openly with families, colleagues, and the broader school community
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by administration to support student and school success

Details:

• Contract position, onsite, with 37.5 hours per week

• Assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027
