Position Responsibilities

• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs and learning styles of students.
• Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations and maintain accurate records of performance.
• Utilize data-driven instructional practices to improve student outcomes.
• Promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, support staff, and families to support student success.
• Maintain classroom management procedures that encourage respectful and productive learning.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as required.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom expectations.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
• Valid South Carolina teaching certification or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Knowledge of English Language Arts curriculum and instructional best practices.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
