High School Middle School Gen Ed Teacher - Woodbridge, Virginia

This flexible, part-time contract opportunity is ideal for educators who are passionate about STEM and creative problem-solving. In this engaging role, you will lead afterschool enrichment sessions, helping K-12 students build critical-thinking and technology skills in a supportive environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
• Background or strong interest in Chess, Robotics, and/or Coding instruction
• Ability to communicate complex concepts in approachable, age-appropriate ways
• Adaptability to work with varied age groups and skill levels
• Reliable transportation to commute to multiple campuses across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia (approximately 10 sites)
• Willingness to teach 5-10 hours weekly, predominantly after school (typically between 3:00-6:00pm)
• Excellent classroom management and engagement skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and interactive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic afterschool lessons in Chess, Robotics, and/or Coding to students in grades K-12
• Develop and implement creative, hands-on curriculum tailored to different grade levels
• Inspire students’ interest and excitement in STEM topics and strategic games
• Manage classroom participation and facilitate engaging group activities
• Collaborate with school staff and parents as needed to support student development
• Track attendance and report on student progress as necessary
