Math Gen Ed Teacher - Ypsilanti, MI

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Math Teacher to inspire and support high school students for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. Key Qualifications:

• Active Michigan teaching certificate with a Math Endorsement (please ensure all current licenses/certifications are included when applying)
• Demonstrated background in teaching high school mathematics within a general education curriculum
• Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to learners of varying abilities
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Proven record of fostering positive relationships with students and faculty

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and implement effective math lessons in alignment with curriculum standards for high school students
• Assess student understanding and adjust instructional methods to support individual learning needs
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to promote student achievement
• Maintain timely and accurate records of student progress, attendance, and reporting
• Support classroom culture that emphasizes respect, inclusivity, and academic growth
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and outreach as required
