Remote Gen Ed Teacher in NY

Seeking a professional to provide virtual telehealth services for general education students. This position requires delivering support and instruction in a virtual format, focusing on meeting the diverse needs of students within a general education setting. The role involves collaboration with educators and leveraging telehealth modalities to enhance student learning and well-being.

Location: Bay Shore, NY (services provided virtually)

Schedule:

• Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
• 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one or small group telehealth sessions aligned with general education curricula
• Support students in reinforcing academic skills and addressing individual learning needs through virtual platforms
• Coordinate with classroom teachers to align telehealth interventions with classroom objectives
• Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and relevant communications
• Utilize telecommunication tools effectively to engage students and support educational goals

Qualifications:

• Experience in general education teaching or related instructional roles
• Familiarity with telehealth service delivery, particularly in educational settings
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging students remotely
• Ability to work independently and manage virtual classroom technologies
• Certification or licensure relevant to teaching or educational support services preferred
