A General Education Teacher is needed for a contract position during the upcoming school year. This role requires providing virtual instruction to students at designated times.
Location: Bay Shore, NY (remote service delivery)
Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Duration: School Year (NSY)
Service Delivery: Fully virtual
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering curriculum and lesson plans aligned with general education standards
- Engaging students in online learning environments effectively
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback as needed
- Collaborating with other educators and support staff virtually to support student success
- Maintaining accurate records of attendance and instructional activities
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid teaching certification in general education
- Experience teaching elementary or secondary level students in a virtual setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage virtual classrooms and leverage educational technology tools
