An opportunity is available for an experienced General Education Teacher with telehealth proficiency, delivering virtual instruction in general education settings. This role involves providing live, online educational support and instruction aligned with classroom standards.
Location: Massapequa, NY (Services conducted virtually)
Schedule:
- Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
- 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual lessons focused on general education curriculum
- Collaborate with students to support academic growth and skill development
- Utilize telehealth technology to engage students effectively across remote settings
- Monitor student progress and adapt instructional methods to meet individual needs
- Maintain clear communication with families and educational staff as necessary
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching general education students
- Comfort and skill in delivering instruction via telehealth platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to maintain student engagement in a virtual learning environment
