Virtual General Education Teacher - Minnesota

A contracted opportunity is available for an educator specializing in English Language Learner (ELL) support within a general education setting. This role operates at a 0.50 full-time equivalent (FTE) with a preference for shortened days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The position primarily focuses on students from kindergarten through fourth grade, with occasional support extending to grades five through twelve.

Located in Mound, MN, this role incorporates telehealth services to effectively engage and support the student population. The expected caseload is approximately 20 students, providing targeted language instruction and facilitating their integration into general education classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored ELL instruction to support language acquisition and literacy development
• Collaborate with general education teachers to align instructional strategies for ELL students
• Utilize telehealth platforms to conduct remote teaching sessions as needed
• Monitor and assess individual student progress, adapting interventions accordingly
• Provide support across K-12 grade levels, with primary focus on K-4 students
• Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings relating to student performance and program effectiveness
