Certified Elementary Educational Interpreter in Appleton, WI

Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a certified interpreter for grades K-5. In this full-time contract position, you’ll make a significant impact by facilitating communication and access to education for young learners throughout their school day. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 29, 2026, you’ll have the chance to work closely with students as they learn, grow, and express themselves.

What you bring:

• Current interpreter certification
• EIPA score of 3.3 or above
• Experience working in elementary school settings (grades K–5) is highly desirable
• Strong command of sign language and interpreting best practices
• Ability to build rapport with young students, faculty, and families
• Flexibility to move between classrooms and adapt to varying student needs
• Commitment to maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and educational standards
