Make an impact by providing essential language support to middle school students as a full-time, contract Multilingual Learner Teacher (ELL/ESL) near Indianapolis. In this role, you’ll work with students across the spectrum of language proficiency, helping them succeed academically and socially by bridging communication gaps. Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience as a Foreign Language Interpreter or in Multilingual Language Learner (MLL) settings
• Expertise in supporting English Language Learners (ELL/ESL) at the middle school level
• Familiarity with instructional strategies tailored to varying proficiency levels
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to best support student progress
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to inclusive education and cultural responsiveness

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide both direct instruction to students and consultative support for general education teachers
• Assess and monitor student progress in English language acquisition
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet individual language advancement needs
• Facilitate classroom activities that support multilingual learners’ academic achievement
• Work closely with staff to ensure compliance with all educational guidelines for ELL/ESL students
• Advocate for student needs and foster a welcoming, supportive learning environment
