K-5 Certified Interpreter | Green Bay, Wisconsin

Step into an impactful, contract role supporting elementary students as a certified interpreter. In this full-time assignment available immediately through late May 2026, you’ll collaborate with educators and staff to foster accessible, engaging learning environments for students in grades K–5.

Your days will be dynamic, working with a variety of young learners and helping facilitate communication throughout the school day. You'll provide essential support that empowers students and makes a visible difference in their educational journey.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid interpreter certification
• EIPA score of 3.3 or higher required
• Experience in K–5 or elementary educational settings preferred
• Skill working with diverse learners and adapting to different classroom environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Reliable, flexible, and patient approach to supporting students and educators

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret classroom instruction, activities, and schoolwide events for students who are Deaf or hard of hearing
• Foster clear communication between students, teachers, and peers in various contexts throughout the day
• Support student participation in both academic and social settings
• Adapt interpreting methods to meet individual student needs and learning styles
• Help track student progress and communicate with staff about successes or challenges
• Maintain professional ethics and confidentiality in all situations
