Elementary K-5 School Interpreter - Green Bay, Wisconsin

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a school interpreter with experience in an educational setting
• EIPA score of 3.3 or higher required
• Comfortable working with elementary-aged students (Kindergarten through Grade 5)
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and administration to facilitate inclusion
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct interpreting services for students throughout the school day in classrooms, group activities, and special events
• Foster accessible learning opportunities and help bridge communication between students, peers, and staff
• Adapt interpreting approaches to suit diverse learning needs and social situations
• Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with school and student privacy standards
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all learners
