The district is currently using a document conversion service, and you’ll be responsible for downloading and preparing braille materials, primarily using a Rogue Embosser with 11.5 x 11 paper. Collaboration with teaching staff and adapting to changing assignments are key, as you’ll help direct this vital resource for a full Braille student.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven proficiency in Braille and experience with embosser technology (Rogue Embosser experience preferred)
• Skilled at converting print documents to accessible formats
• Familiarity with Google Docs and digital document management systems
• Experience supporting visually impaired students in educational settings
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and convert educational materials to Braille, meeting or exceeding two weeks’ lead time for student assignments
