Certified Grades K - 5 School Interpreter - Kaukauna, WI

Step into a pivotal role providing support to elementary students as a certified interpreter in a dynamic school environment. This full-time contract position spans from ASAP through May 29, 2026, offering the opportunity to make a daily difference for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Collaborate closely with educators and staff, ensuring access and clear communication for young learners as you guide them throughout their school day.

Qualifications:

• Current Interpreter Certification required
• Minimum EIPA score of 3.3 or higher
• Experience working with elementary-age children (Grades K–5) preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt interpreting techniques to varied classroom settings and student needs
• Professional, responsible, and a team player

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation and communication access for students in regular and special education settings
• Work alongside teachers and staff to facilitate academic and social participation for assigned students
• Adapt interpreting strategies for diverse activities, including classroom instruction, lunch, and school events
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions
• Contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate on student progress as needed
• Support a culture of inclusion and respect for all learners
