Forward planning is key—the school aims to have Braille content prepared two weeks in advance, ensuring the student has equal access alongside peers.

Key Qualifications:

• Background as a Braillist and/or Interpreter in an educational environment.
• Proficiency with Braille conversion technology and embossing equipment.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with educators.
• High attention to detail and efficiency with managing sensitive timelines.
• Familiarity with Google Docs and digital workflow for document sharing.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Convert instructional materials (e.g., worksheets, tests) into Braille and upload files to Google Docs.
