Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Proficiency in interpretation for students and staff within a school setting
- Strong background as a braillist, with the ability to transcribe educational materials accurately
- Familiarity with technology and adaptive equipment for visually impaired students
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Compassion, patience, and a student-centered approach
- Previous experience in an educational environment preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret classroom discussions, assemblies, and meetings to support clear communication
- Transcribe textbooks, worksheets, and other instructional resources into braille
