Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification appropriate to K–12 or Special Education (required)
• Previous experience working with special needs and/or life skills curriculum
• Demonstrated classroom management abilities and creative instructional strategies

• Strong collaborative approach with teachers, staff, and families
• Flexibility to adapt lessons for various learning abilities and grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized life skills lesson plans for students in grades K–12
• Create a supportive environment focused on communication, self-care, and social skills
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align educational and developmental goals
• Track student progress and tailor teaching methods as needed
• Communicate regularly with families about student achievements and areas of growth
• Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation as required
