Qualifications & Experience:

• Teaching certification in Special Education or related area
• Experience working with life skills curriculum for students in grades K-12
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to modify lessons and materials to support diverse learning needs
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement life skills curriculum tailored to varying developmental and academic levels
• Guide students in areas such as communication, self-care, social skills, vocational awareness, and practical academics
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to craft individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assess student progress and document outcomes clearly and effectively
