Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification (Life Skills or Special Education preferred)
• Experience teaching or supporting students in grades K–12
• Strong knowledge of developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Passion for empowering students with unique learning needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Adaptability and creativity in lesson planning and classroom management

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate life skills curriculum for elementary, middle, and high school students
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate a variety of learning styles and abilities
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies to ensure student success
• Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Communicate regularly with families and caregivers regarding student progress and goals
• Provide supervision and support during classroom and community-based activities
