  • Patience, adaptability, and excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons on daily living, executive functioning, social skills, and self-advocacy
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to tailor learning experiences for diverse student needs
  • Track and assess student progress, adjusting instruction to maximize growth and independence
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to share progress and strategies for supporting growth at home
  • Create a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and empowered
